Waste Management in Bagerhat City: Challenges and Solutions

Under the Gold Initiative, the youth organization CYDO recently organized an important dialogue titled “Waste Management in Bagerhat City: Challenges and Solutions.” The event was attended by representatives from the District Youth Development Office, Upazila Health Complex, Bagerhat Municipality, local journalists, teachers, students, and all CYDO members.

During the meeting, guests discussed in detail the environmental and health impacts of the city’s growing waste problem. They also highlighted effective waste management practices, the importance of separating recyclable waste, raising public awareness, and encouraging active participation from local communities.
