Today, a remarkable event took place at the Office of the Upazila Youth Development Officer, Bagerhat Sadar, Bagerhat — the Allowance and Certificate Distribution Ceremony for participants of the Family Poultry Farming Training Program
This training program was organized under the supervision of the Department of Youth Development, with the goal of empowering young people and enhancing their skills in small-scale poultry farming. Such initiatives play a vital role in promoting self-employment opportunities and improving the socio-economic conditions of rural youth.
The trainees who successfully completed the training were enthusiastic members of CYDO (Climate and Youth Development Organization). They actively participated throughout the training sessions, gaining both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in family-level poultry rearing — including poultry management, vaccination, feed preparation, and marketing.
During the event, participants received both their training allowances and certificates of completion, recognizing their dedication and successful participation. The certificates were handed over by Mr. Md. Sohrab Hossain, Assistant Director, District Youth Development Department, Bagerhat, and Mr. A.K.M. Iktiar Uddin, Upazila Youth Development Officer, Bagerhat Sadar, Bagerhat
The ceremony concluded with inspiring remarks from the guests, who emphasized the importance of skill-based training in creating self-reliant youth communities. They encouraged the trainees to utilize their newly gained knowledge to start small-scale poultry farms, contribute to local food production, and become role models for others in the community.
Through this successful collaboration between CYDO and the Youth Development Department, another milestone has been achieved in promoting youth empowerment, sustainable livelihoods, and community-driven economic progress
