CYDO Hosts Iftar Gathering in Bagerhat Promoting Unity and Brotherhood

Keeping the spirit and values of the holy month of Ramadan in focus, the social and youth development organization CYDO organized a warm and cordial Iftar gathering in Bagerhat.

The event took place on Sunday (15 March) at Sky View Restaurant in Bagerhat City, where respected members of the organization, representatives from various youth organizations, and distinguished guests attended the program. Their enthusiastic participation made the event lively and memorable.

During the program, Md. Mehedi Hasan, President of CYDO, said that Ramadan teaches us the values of self-purification, compassion, and brotherhood. He emphasized that such gatherings help strengthen mutual relationships and reinforce social harmony within the community.

Among those present at the Iftar gathering were S.M. Nazmush Sakib, Social Service Officer at the City Social Service Office, Bagerhat; Md. Shamsuzzoha, Trainer (Fisheries) at the Department of Youth Development, Bagerhat; Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, Area Coordinator of Transparency International Bangladesh, Bagerhat; Suman Acharya, President of Tarunner Ahbane; and Sumit Bhattacharya, President of Abhijan Youth Organization, along with leaders from various social and youth organizations.

The guests highlighted the significance of Ramadan and called for strengthening the values of peace, harmony, and mutual cooperation within society. They also encouraged young people to actively engage in social and humanitarian initiatives.

The organizers stated that CYDO will continue to work through various social welfare and humanitarian initiatives in the future.
