Nari Bolei Pari

Project Overview:

Ensuring the safety and confidence of girls is essential for building an inclusive and empowered society. Recognizing the challenges many girls face in public spaces and daily life, CYDO launched “Nari Bolei Pari” (Because I Am a Woman, I Can) — a special self-defense training program designed to equip girl students with practical skills, confidence, and awareness to protect themselves.

This initiative focuses not only on physical self-defense techniques but also on strengthening mental resilience, situational awareness, and decision-making abilities. Through structured training sessions led by qualified instructors, participants learn how to respond effectively to potential threats and navigate their environments with greater confidence.

Project Summary:

This CYDO initiative focuses on empowering girl students through self-defense education to enhance their safety, confidence, and independence. Recognizing that fear, harassment, and insecurity often limit girls’ mobility and opportunities, the project equips participants with practical self-defense skills and knowledge about personal safety, rights, and risk prevention.

Implemented in collaboration with educational institutions and professional trainers, the program uses hands-on and interactive learning methods to ensure effective skill-building and engagement. Beyond physical techniques, it fosters leadership, self-reliance, and awareness, helping girls feel more secure in their daily lives.

By strengthening girls’ confidence and their ability to respond to unsafe situations, the project supports greater participation in education and community life. Ultimately, it contributes to building supportive communities that prioritize women’s safety and empowerment.
