Four-Day Residential Training of Trainers (TOT)

Training of Trainers (ToT) on Youth Leadership and Advocacy

From 5–8 October 2025, representatives from the Climate and Youth Development Organization (CYDO) participated in a four-day residential Training of Trainers (ToT) organized by the Right Here Right Now – Bangladesh Platform.

The comprehensive program focused on enhancing participants’ facilitation, communication, and leadership skills, empowering them to become confident youth trainers and advocates for positive social change. The sessions were thoughtfully designed to promote inclusivity, collaboration, and self-reflection, ensuring participants could translate learning into real-world community action.

The training was skillfully facilitated by Sanaiyya Ansari, along with the inspiring trainers Tanvia Roselin Sultana and Dil Afroz Akter, who created a warm, engaging, and interactive learning environment.

Throughout the four days, participants explored key areas such as:

  • Effective facilitation techniques for youth training sessions
  • Building leadership capacity and teamwork dynamics
  • Gender equality and social inclusion in advocacy
  • Designing and implementing youth-led campaigns
  • Strategies for sustaining youth movements for social impact

This transformative experience enriched CYDO representatives with practical tools, deeper understanding, and renewed motivation to drive positive change within their communities. They returned with strengthened confidence to lead initiatives promoting equality, empowerment, and youth participation in decision-making processes.

CYDO extends its heartfelt appreciation to the Right Here Right Now – Bangladesh Platform and the facilitators for this incredible learning opportunity, which will undoubtedly enhance the organization’s future advocacy and youth development initiatives.
