Advocacy and Campaign Training Participation

Members of the Climate and Youth Development Organization (CYDO) actively participated in a three-day intensive training on “Advocacy and Campaign,” organized by Nagarik Udyog. The training aimed to build participants’ capacity in designing, planning, and executing effective advocacy and campaign strategies for social transformation.

Throughout the three days, participants engaged in interactive sessions, group discussions, and practical exercises that deepened their understanding of how advocacy can influence policy, mobilize communities, and bring sustainable change. The training covered a wide range of topics, including:

  • Fundamentals and importance of advocacy and campaigning
  • Identifying social issues and setting advocacy goals
  • Developing effective communication and campaign strategies
  • Stakeholder engagement and coalition building
  • Monitoring and evaluating advocacy outcomes

The sessions were facilitated by experienced trainers and development professionals who shared real-life case studies and success stories from across the country. These insights helped participants understand the dynamics of grassroots advocacy and the power of collective action.

CYDO representatives actively contributed to discussions, shared their organizational experiences, and explored new strategies that can be integrated into CYDO’s ongoing and future initiatives. The training not only enhanced their knowledge and leadership skills but also strengthened their commitment to promoting youth-driven advocacy for social justice, equality, and sustainable development.

The knowledge and experiences gained from this training will play a vital role in strengthening CYDO’s community-based programs and enhancing its capacity to implement impactful campaigns that address pressing social and environmental issues.

CYDO expresses gratitude to Nagarik Udyog for this valuable learning opportunity and looks forward to applying the acquired knowledge to create greater positive change in society.
